One-day CLIO workshop for Infrared Free Electron Laser Users

The one-day CLIO workshop for Infrared Free Electron Laser Users will take place on May 28th “on line” and it is organised by the Institute of Physical Chemistry in Orsay.

It will focus on the state-of-the-art methodologies envisioned by expert researchers working or likely to work with Free Electron lasers in the mid or far-IR range.

Motivated by the need to support rapid changes in innovative science, the Free Electron Laser CLIO in Orsay

is planning to enter a phase to solve some technical issues, which we hope should improve the performances of the CLIO FEL beam, and hence should allow for new applications.

This one-day workshop will end with a round table between the participants which we hope will help with the construction of new research topics on CLIO. If you want to contribute to animate the discussion with very short presentation (5 min) during the round table, please indicate it on the registration form before May 19th.

Organising committee:

Charles Desfrançois, Laboratoire de Physique des Lasers, CNRS - Université Paris 13

Jean-Yves Salpin, LAMBE, CNRS, Université d’Evry-Université Paris Saclay
